Wildstar projected front runner for Libertarian Governor Candidate
Support for Nickolas Wildstar quickly surpassing former presidential candidate Zoltan Istvan
With two major gubernatorial candidates vying for the Libertarian endorsement, the Libertarian Party of California has pushed to allow the delegate members to make the final decision at the April 2018 State Convention. The decision has left two dramatically different candidates to campaign within the party but a front runner has already begun to emerge as Libertarian and Independent voters turn towards Wildstar.
Wildstar’s platform focuses on tax cuts, restoring freedom of choice and addressing government corruption. Priorities that are echoed across all Californian voters. But his platform also focuses on civil liberties as he himself has been profiled by police and held under custodial arrest countless occasions, most recently on Martin Luther King Day, which he often films and shares on his own YouTube channel. With no “big pocket” donors his campaign has been propelled through a grass root effort that exemplify how his message has been heard and echoed by California residences.
“Those of us living here in California, with the ever increasing taxes, steady decrease in jobs and the police state growing more and more out of control each day its apparent that drastic changes need to happen and they need to happen fast…” Wildstar said at the LPC Riverside Convention, “Civil unrest has begun to boil over and the two other parties are clueless on how to simmer things down.”
Wildstar spends his evenings volunteering with food banks and homeless shelters; a sharp contrast to his competitor, Zoltan Istvan, who is busy with paid speaking engagements regarding his transhumanist platform. Istvan, who boasts his ability to finance his campaign on his own has even proclaimed his own lack of interest in winning the governor election and is suspected to only be using this campaign as a pitch for a second presidential run. However, Istvan seems to be losing support as fast as he is burning money with a platform that focus on universal basic income and human robotic enhancement.
